Personalised Learning for Every Young Person

As a small and specialist provision with very low learner-teacher ratios and scope for 1:1 support, we are able to individualise the curriculum for each young person. Every timetable is designed around individual needs, abilities, aptitudes and interests, ensuring that learning is meaningful and engaging.

Our rich academic offer is complemented by project-based and vocational learning, helping pupils connect education to real-world experiences.

Pathways to Progress and Achievement

All young people study Maths and English, following either the GCSE or Functional Skills route depending on their initial assessment. Every pupil works towards achieving a Level 2 qualification in both subjects by the end of Year 11, preparing them for college, apprenticeships or employment.

Alongside core subjects, all pupils take part in PSHE, Citizenship and PE, with lessons tailored to their age and ability. Broader learning covers scientific, technological, human, social and creative education, delivered through enrichment, vocational and project-based activities. Whether academic or hands-on, each young person follows a personalised route to success that supports their growth, confidence and aspirations.
